Label Text:
SKINNER CATALOGUE: An old copper flagon with straight sides tapering towards the top, large side vase handle, nose, and cover hinging back on the handle. Made from a flat piece of copper, bent round, with the edges folded and ridged together. Bottom attached by a tighly pinched flange. Top finished off with a deep scalloped and gadrooned brass collar, rivetted on. Inside zinced. Height 11/ 1/8". Diam. Base 8 7/16". Top 5 1/4". Cat. 11/22/1935.
