Description:
A small oval Shaker spice box, pine top and bottom, hickory rim on cover, maple side on box. 4 1/4 inch, two tounged, copper tacked lap, which was characteristic of Shaker construction. Copper brads used to hold the sides to the top and bottom boards. Outside surfaces painted with the old dull brick red paint.
Slight scent of spice still noticable.
