Description: Missionary Cabinet. Pair of shoes for a woman with bound feet. Red silk uppers with wide leg and tiny turned up toe. Wide tongues run up the backs of the shoes. Two loops, one on either side of the tongues, on top of each boot may have been pull-helps for pulling the shoes on. The sole has a wooden form with brocaded silk wrapped around it. The heels are thin pieces of leather
