Description:
The head of the pin is a unique seal design. These seals were worn by their owners on strings of leather (or other materials) around the neck or wrist or pinned to a garment, in order to be available at all times as a signature on a document or to legitimize a business deal. This seal would have been worn on a garment. Although it is very oxidized, the design is intact.
