Description:
Obverse: Bearded figure of standing caliph wearing long herringbone patterned robes facing, with long stylized hair, holding sword to his left and with his girdle band hanging from his waist to his right. Arabic inscription in right and left fields.
Obverse legend: Arabic inscription - "muhammad ra/" downwards in left field, "sul allah" upwards in right.
Reverse: Retrograde Byzantine style cursive "m" in field, with a pellet or crescent above and three dots below the exergual line. Retrograde Arabic inscriptions in right and left fields.
Reverse legend: Arabic inscription - "filastin" downwards in left field, "iliya" upwards in right.
