Description:
Missionary Cabinet. Round fan with dark bamboo handle that extends the entire diameter of the inner circle. Three concentric circles make up the fan part. The inner circle is a tight weave of grass, the second circle (approx 1/4" away) contains knots for the fringe, and the third (3/8" away) flattens it out. A fringe of loose grass extends beyond the third circle, and there are a few carved spots at the end of the handle.
