Description: A Parade in the style of a Daimyo Procession. A procession, in the style of the great processions of feudal lords of the Edo period (1600-1867), before the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on February 23 of the 13th year of the Meiji Era (1880). It is also the year of the dragon, as can be seen by the red kite on the second page by the man crouching on the ground. The front and back cover have the hollyhock mon (emblem) of the Tokygawa clan embossed into it.
