Description: ca. early 20th century plaster cast of a Pentelic marble original dating to the Archaic Period, ca. 510-500 BCE. This relief, found built into the Themistocleian Wall near the Dipylon and the Kerameikos cemetery in Athens, Greece, is one of three panels from the base of a funerary statue. Six male figures are depicted playing a ball-throwing game. The original marble relief after which this cast is made is located at the National Archaeological Museum in Athens, Greece.
