Description:
One of two, appliqued and pieced, cotton quilts (see HD V.051D) in a version of the Basket pattern laid out with rows of appiqued, orange baskets (9 across, 9 down) on white alternating with plain white, square blocks set on point, and a four-sided border made of 5/8" strips of orange cotton stiched in a zig-zag; straight-grain, white cotton border; plain weave, white cotton backing; and cotton batting.
