Description: Vest, the front of which is made from black wool printed with maroon squares in a spot motif. Made by Mrs. Gilbert (Virginia) McCurdy, 1963, for Henry N. Flynt's 70th birthday, on July 2, 1963. On label inside back neck: "ALL WOOL/CHALLIS/ Imported/from/ Great Britain." Secured by five buttons down center front, adjustable back straps. On proper left side, in red/maroon embroidery are the following names: Dwight Barnard, Asa Stebbins, Samuel Pierce, The Manse, Ashley, Helen, Sheldon Hawks, Parker Russell Silver, Allen, Pink?, Old Deerfield, Hall Tavern, 1760, Frary, Wilson Printing, Virgil, HNF 7-2-'63. On the proper right side, in red/maroon embroidery: Gerrie Onchelbaq, Eph Williams, Stone Hedges, Knowlthwaite, Walpole, Bay Head, Pocumtuck Valley MA, Rome, 2301, Judy Glouis?, Jeremiah Dummer, Marge & Jim, Henry Freddy, Helen, Bobby, Cindy, Juliet, Billy, Hank and Mary. On back: Mont Saint Vincent, G. Borde-Fretigny, and a candlestick with "Tutor Flynt 1728 Expono Pupillorum."
