Description:
English Stafforshire pearlware globular-shaped teapot with a domed teapot lid with pointed ball finial. The pot is covered with an underglaze transfer print in yellow in a geometric checkerboard pattern with a roundel at the top; the curved spout is printed with stylized floral sprigs. The pot has an attached strap handle, straight applied foot rim, and the base marked "967 DV".
