Description: English lusterware goblet, covered overall with gold "copper" lustre and decorated with gold resist. The term "Resist" applies to designs in white or colors over a continuous lustered background, where the design itself is not lustered. The goblet has a slightly flared rim, over a gold resist band of stylized floral sprays in white. The lower half of the goblet is decorated with incised lines, over a short, waisted stem and a flat base, which has an incised band and molded edge.
