Description: English creamware miniature or toy teacup and saucer decorated in iron red and blackish-brown. The black-banded rim is over a band of fern-like design in a herringbone shape over a narrow black band. There is a group of four small dots in a diamond shape on each base. This cup and saucer are probably part of a set with the pitcher, HD 78.121, also given by the same donor. These pieces could have been made by Josiah Wedgwood but are unmarked. See Bryding Adams, The Dwight and Lucille Beeson Collection at the Birmingham Museum of Art, p. 188, no. 40, acc no. 1990.268.1-.11.
