Description: English lusterware goblet with an everted rim, beaded band around the lower body, short stem, and footed base. The goblet is covered with copper lustre and decorated with a blue slip band around the body with floral spray in white, green, and turquoise. Its copper lustre decoration is created by applying gold salts to the red earthenware body, where in the heat of the kiln the metal is deposited as a thin layer on the surface.
