Description: English lusterware goblet with a slightly flared rim, short, single-ringed stem and footed, flat base that has an incised band and molded edge. The goblet is covered with copper lustre and decorated with a large center flower in white, flanked by green and yellow leaves with small blue flowers. Its copper lustre decoration is created by applying gold salts to the red earthenware body, where in the heat of the kiln the metal is deposited as a thin layer on the surface.
