Description:
Hand-colored print titled "Hope" with "Busby's Humorous Etchings. N 17" inscribed at the top left, and "T. L. Busby. 1826" inscribed on the center botton of the print, and "Depository & Public Library 84 Charlotte St Rathbone Place" along the bottom left. The scene depicts a boy, with his hat and open book on the floor and fork and knife in hand, seated at a small table with a round top and tripod base as his mother carves the round pudding on the table. It appears that the boy has just come home from school because a hat and an open book are on the floor in the middle of kitchen.
