Description: Three sizes of silver bodkins engraved with scrolling foliate decoratio in a brown leather case, which were made by the Gorham Manufacturing Company, each marked with a lion, anchor and "G" and "STERLING" and a number on the back (B415, B-416, B-414). A bodkin is designed to pull an item (such as elastic, ribbon, cording or drawstring) through a casing. The blunt point prevents the bodkin from piercing the fabric casing while guiding the item through the casing.
