Description:
Pictorial embroidery polychrome silk slips on tan, satin-weave silk ground. Two central couples are depicted, a dressed man and woman and Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve are depicted flanking a tree with the serpent coiled around the trunk are at the lower center of the composition. Around them are a man and woman, a winged angel, and a wide range of animals including griffins, tiger, rabbit, squirrel, birds and insects, and exotic flowers.
