Description:
English side chair made with eighteenth and twentieth-century parts. The eighteenth-century Chippendale back of the chair is combined with twentieth-century rails and front legs to create a rare "slipper" chair, with cabriole legs ending in pad feet. Veneer and stain are used to disguise new material, and the legs have induced wear.
