Description: One of a set of six knives and six forks with slightly greenish white soft-paste porcelain pistol butt handles, decorated with molded floral sprigs on a dotted ground in the "chrysanthemum pattern". The pistol-grip shaped handles are connected to the steel blades with a silver mount; the knife blades are scimitar shaped. The forks have three tines. These knives and forks were sold to the Flynts as having hafts made by the Bow Porcelain Factory, London, England; in 1975 John Austin agreed with that origin of manufacture.
