Description: English creamware sugar bowl with two ribbed, intertwined handles ending in leaf terminals and a cover, decorated with floral sprays in purple, red, green, orange, yellow, and black. The slightly domed lid has an applied reclining flower knob with leaf terminals; the bowl has an applied flared foot. Wares such as this sugar bowl were produced throughout Staffordshire, Yorkshire, and Derbyshire. This was in J. B. Morris' collection, #2566.
