Description: English, probably London, delft circular dish with blue, purple, green, and red decoration, a form that bares some resemblance to the "Stamped Circle Group". Shards similar to this pattern have been found at the William Griffiths Pottery in London. The rim is decorated with six stylized foliate sprays in red, green, and blue. The well is encircled by red wavy and scalloped lines; around an interlinked oval chain in sponged manganese around a blue line. The center form can be described as a schematic oriental pavilion or futuristic pylon structure topped by a cross with a blue circle center, all over a red fence; with two red birds flying overhead, and two stylized sponged manganese trees. The dish has an applied foot ring.
