Description: One of a pair of Dutch delft candlesticks in blue and white marked "PAK" for Pieter Adriaenson Kocks who inherited the "De GRIEKSCHE A" pottery from his father, Adrianus Kocks, in 1701. Although Pieter died in 1703, his "PAK" mark was used from 1701 to 1722. In 1995, Nicholas Vandekar stated that the style of decoration on the candlesticks is typical of that made by the factory during the period of 1705-1710.
