Description: Brass candlestick with a plain flared flange on a long plain nozzle; over a shaft with a faceted knob and plain knop, and stepped beehive-knop rings that ends in a plain stepped on a square base. The ejector is missing. In general, these forms of 19th century candlesticks are often thicker and heavier than earlier forms, although they are much lighter in weight because of improved casting techniques. These new forms included faceting and an wide variety of knop shapes, such as these beehive knops.
