Description:
This print depicts George Washington in his Continental Army uniform on horseback, doffing his tricorn cap. He sits upon a white horse. In the background shows cavalry charging a row of infantry troops and a cannon. The print is inscribed, "GEN. GEORGE WASHINGTON/ THE FATHER OF HIS COUNTRY/Lithographed and Published by James Baillie" The print is hand colored with green, yellow, black, and blue watercolors. Condition: There are some water stains on the upper right hand side of the print, the bottom edge of the print is stained.
