Description:
A Jacobite engraved opaque-twist wine glass, circa 1750-60, the round funnel bowl engraved with an open sunflower and two buds, the obverse with a large moth or butterfly, on a double series opaque-twist stem, the central double spiral threads within spiral ribbons, the plain conical foot with pontil mark. Condition: traces of gilding.
