Description: Jacket, tan chamois leather with mother-of-pearl buttons. Constructed in the style of a hunting or camp shirt/jacket, with turned back revers, long sleeves with fastened cuffs, and no collar. Reinforced seams (flat-felled or French). Possibly a lining or underlayer. Label inside PR front: “A&F Abercrombie & Fitch Co./ MADISON AVE. AT 45TH ST. N.Y.” The jacket, along with a now-missing pair of breeches or pants, likely formed a kind of long underwear woman's outfit. It was probably worn by Helen Geier Flynt (1895-1986) during the second or third quarter of the 20th century.
