Description:
Side chair retaining original surface and leather upholstery with scrolled stiles, square seat, and cabriole legs ending in pad feet. The inside fronts of the two rear legs are champhered, and the side, rear, and medial stretchers are turned. The rear seat rail is sugar, or hard, maple, and the splat, proper right rear leg, and proper right stretcher are walnut. The original calfskin leather seat has darkened over time.
