Description: Press molded teapot; octagonal shaped body with saw-tooth boarder pattern surrounding the lid; octagonal shaped lid with molded swan finial; applied spout and handle; covered entirely in yellow glaze; decorated with polychrome enamels; gray painted tear-drop shaped designs surround the swan finial on the lid of the teapot; gray and red painted decoration on the spout, handle, and saw-tooth boarder pattern surrounding the lid; the sides of the tea pot are painted with chinoiserie designs; one side depicts two women standing on one side of a running fence; one woman holds a parisol; between them stands a fanciful castle-like structure; the reverse depicts two women standing on one side of a running fence; one woman holds a parisol; between them stands a pagoda-like structure; the exterior of the base is fluted and painted gray; Condition: small chip on the edge of the lid; scratch on the side of the pot
