Description:
Speckled yellowware mug with straight-sided cylindrical shape, flat round base, applied twisted rope-like handle, decorated with applied blue clay sprigging of a band of grape leaves and graves, and a three dogs or foxes, some of the applied decoration has fallen off, and the upper rim of the mug is very damaged with many losses, also there is some glaze loss along the lower edge, inscribed in pencil on the bottom edge, “Sterling, M.S.”
