Description:
Table mat, woven with white linen warp threads and polychrome wool weft threads, including white, brown, tan, yellow, three shades of red, green, two shades of blue. The primary design is a striped woven design at either end; the body of the textile is woven with discontinous polychrome wool wefts. The center of the textile is woven with an anstracted cross in light red with a yellow center. Selvage width 11 3/8”, length 16”, hemmed top and bottom. A thicker black weft thread woven at either end denotes cutting from the loom. Worcester Guild of Artists and Craftsmen
