Description:
Map of North America extending from the Caribbean to the Northwest Passage, and from the Atlantic to the Pacific. A narrow, east-west landmass north of Canada is labeled "Incognita." Map is based on Cornelis DeJode's 1593 map, America pars Borealis. From the first atlas published in German, Geographisch Handbuch.
