Description: Dutch delft plate decorated in blue, inscribed with "B/ A:M/ 1759", probably a marriage, within a coat of arms in center, composed of a shield surmounted by a crown and flanked by two feathers or fronds in the center well. The rim has a band of four stylized flowers heads alternating with four trelliswork panels topped by scrolls. The base is marked with a "P" in blue, which is probably for Johannes Pennis the Elder (1702-1788) who owned the "De Porseleinen Schotel" (The Porcelain Dish) from 1725-1764. The base also has two paper labels: "#5" and "33956/OPT."
