Description:
Triangular sadiron with a solid cast iron base with cast marks on top of base: "7", "A C W", and "D". Sadirons were heated on the stove and used to press clothing. Since they had to be heated continually, often there was more than one owned in a household. The handle, which is attached to base, has a black painted hand grip. Howland #52.
