Description:
Triangular sadiron with a solid cast iron base with cast marks on top of base: "6", "OBER". Sadirons were heated over a stove and used to press clothing. Since they had to be heated continually, often there was more than one owned in a household. The handle, which is attached to base, has a thick, black painted hand grip.
