Description: vertical ōban; bijinga; nishiki-e
Label Text: This print is signed "Kuniyasu hitsu" ('from the brush of Kuniyasu') at middle-right. The circular kiwame seal of the censor and the mark of publisher Iseya Rihei of the firm Kinjudō, a stylized version of the kanji "hayashi" ('woods') beneath a single-peaked mountain, are visible at lower-right. The courtesan and her place of employ are identified at the top-right. However, that inscription, along with the poem at top, have yet to be deciphered. The poet who authored the verse, Kōnantei Karadachi, is identified at middle-left. The Mead has another print from the same as-yet unidentified series (AC 1994.92).
