Description: vertical chūban print with some trimming along right margin; musha-e; nishiki-e

This impression depicts the Temple at Ishiyama, a stronghold of warrior monks who opposed the rule of the samurai. The structure was abandoned and destroyed before Toyohiro's lifetime (it is now in Osaka). As such, this print is classified as a "musha-e," or "historical picture," as opposed to a simple landscape.
