Label Text:
This print is signed at lower middle-left "Kōchōrō Kunisada ga" ('drawn by Kōchōrō Kunisada'). Beneath the signature are the now-faded circular kiwame seal of the censor and the mark of publisher Sanoya Kihei then of the firm Kikakudō, both in red. The print series and title of this print are indicated at top-right, within the red and blue cartouches, respectively.

While there were only 53 stations on the Tōkaidō, there are a total of 56 prints in this series, of which this is number 55.
