Description: left panel of a vertical ōban triptych; bijinga; nishiki-e
Label Text: This print is signed at lower-right "Gototei Kunisada ga" ('drawn by Gototei Kunisada'), a signature used by the artist until ca. 1842. However, based on the style of the script, it is likely from the 1820s or early 1830s, a period in which Kunisada collaborated with the publisher Iseya Rihei of the firm Kinjudō, whose seal — the kanji "hayashi" ('woods') beneath a single-peaked mountain — is visible beneath the signature. To lower-right of the signature is the circular kiwame seal of the censor.
