Description:
Costume design for the ballet "Les Noces" ("The Wedding," music by Igor Stravinsky, choreography by Bronislava Nijinska), which was produced by the Ballets Russes and premiered in Paris in 1923. This is one of the early designs conceived in the late 1910s, which were not included in the final production.
