Description: 4 of 4 related drawings (1995.9.-12)
Label Text: It is clear when looking at the work of Elizabeth Dworkin that her subject is really the creative process. Her interests lie with the exploration of her materials and the complexities of abstract art. She has devoted herself to painting and drawing for many years and moves between both mediums with ease and energy. Drawing enables Dworkin to investigate composition, form, and color while expressing feelings and ideas. Through its subtle palette, rhythmic structure, and use of language, this untitled drawing of 1995 underscores the artist's formal concerns with painterly abstraction.
