Description: The urn sit upon a pedestal. the ground of the plate is Saxon green. It is elaborately decorated with gilded ornamental handles and bands of gilding throughout. The lid is Saxon green with gilded gadroon pattern and a white and gold handle on the top. On the outside center of the urn is the Amherst Coat of Arms. Two indigenous men in full battle array are chained and stand on either side of a shield decorated with arrows and spears. Above is a monarch's crown. Below the shield is a pink banner that says "CONSTANTIA ET VIRTUTE"
