Description:
Child's white cotton christening dress which came from the Maxam family of Colrain and Shelburne, Massachusetts. The neckline, cuffs, and hem are each decorated with tucks, scalloped flounces, and drawn and pulled thread work(?). The bodice is entirely decorated with drawn and pulled thread work(?). The skirt is gathered into the garment's waistline all around.
