Label Text:
Dressed in a short-sleeved shift with her cloak falling around her legs, this woman leans on a short pillar with her left arm placed jauntily on her hip. Variants of this popular type dispense with the shift, and the resulting bare-breasted woman is certainly meant to be Aphrodite, who perhaps is also represented here in more modest attire.
