single panel of a vertical ōban triptych; bijinga; nishiki-e

Label Text:
This print is signed at lower-left "Kōchōrō Kunisada ga" ('drawn by Kōchōro Kunisada'), a signature used by the artist from ca. 1824–1861. At lower-right is the circular kiwame seal of the censor and the seal of publisher Tsutaya Kichizō of the firm Kōeidō. A complete example of this triptych is held at The Edo Tokyo Museum (acc. no. 91220347).
