Description:
English delft circular plate with blue decoration. The well is decorated with an overall pattern of asterisk designs, surrounded by three narrow concentric circles. The rim, surrounded by two blue bands on the inside and one band on the outside, is decorated by intertwined arcs and crescents, or scallops (also known as an ermine-like border).
