Description:
Silver tablespoon with an upturned shield (wavy-end, dog-nose) end and short rattail drop on back of the large, oval bowl, which is marked "PP" in a shield with two mullets over and one mullet under in a shield shape, and engraved with the initials "F / G S" on the handle. This mark is not listed in Jackson's; John Davis notes that, the marks of many of the provincial silver makers are unrecorded.
