Description:
Kabuki actor Iwai Matsunosuke as Kewaizaka no Shōshō, Soga Gorō's lover, wearing a kimono with Gorō's symbol of butterflies, standing under a willow tree, next to a lamppost with two frogs below. Signed Toyokuni ga with single kiwame censor seal and seal of publisher Yamamoto Kyūbei of firm Eikyūdō in Edo.
