Description:
View of an obelisk covered in hieroglyphics in a piazza where three roads converge, with two churches nestled in between the start of the roads. The square, which is located at the northern entrance to the city of Rome, is full of people and carriages and is shown in an exaggerated three-point perspective. Beneath the image is an inscription with the title and a key to the numbered elements of the composition.
