Description:
An octagonal fragment of a composition showing an angel crowning the virgin. The Virgin's head is truncated and rises up from the bottom of the panel. She wears a dark hood edged in white, and her head angles to the left of the composition. The angel's head, arms, and torso are visible in the upper right, and she raises her right arm over her head to hold the punched crown. The background is gilded and punched.
